We favour the more agile approaches, as we have found that waterfall projects have an low value, high upfront costs that force the project to be benefit negative throughout the life cycle. Also these projects have long cradle to market time span – this significantly increases the possibility that the market has moved before the software has been delivered.

Innovation best practice dictates that organisations deliver fast, implement just good enough and fail early where innovation or start-up ventures are driven.
